So,where did this love of food begin?
During the beginning of my career, I began to develop my own personal brand and business, which is today known as ‘Ben’s Food Diary’. This social media profile i built during my apprenticeship has focused on sharing local hospitality with my community so as to allow fellow food lovers to be more engaged and involved in their local area. Part of this ‘sharing’ process has included live interviews with local hospitality business owners, collaborations with regional chefs to explore their personal experiences and work ethic, and meetings with industry leaders and discussing current affairs.
All of these factors have contributed to the growth of ‘Ben’s Food Diary’ as a social media business, but have more importantly aided in establishing my own much needed skills as a young chef. These networking opportunities have allowed me to achieve many goals also gaining a position as the product ambassador for my local ‘Essential Ingredient’ store.

Although I still feel like I am at the beginning of my lifelong food journey, I am lucky enough to have been featured in a few publications and to have won a few awards including State finalist for AusTAFE culinary championship back in 2018.
I look forward to watching these numbers grow along with the support of the amazing community that follows my journey
