HI, MY NAME IS BEN

I’m Ben Warhurst –  a young chef from Albury/Wodonga.
I enjoy focusing on sharing my fresh take on hospitality and food with my local community to allow and encourage fellow food lovers to be more engaged and involved in their local area.

Some nice things people have said

Don’t take my word for it, the tribe has spoken…

“Ben did an amazing job catering every meal & snack for 23 of our guests over a 5 day period. No mean feat –  What a massive job! executed well – Great Work! “

Cindy Hinterholzl

“The quality of food and service was amazing. To be served by a 17 year old (at the time) was so inspiring. The food was, needless to say, out of this world.”

Dr Alfeen Varghese

“An exceptional young man with an incredible future! So calm and poised and nothing was too much trouble to organise, you went over and beyond Ben!”

Kinta Gitsham

BeN'S FOOD DIARY

Part of this ‘sharing’ process has included live interviews with local hospitality business owners, collaborations with regional chefs to explore their personal experiences and work ethic and meetings with industry leaders.

All of these factors have contributed to the growth of ‘Ben’s Food Diary’ as a social media based business, and aided in establishing and honing my skills as a young chef.

Networking opportunities afforded me through this have allowed me to achieve many personal goals –  including a securing a position as a product ambassador for my local ‘Essential Ingredient’ store.
